The main road narrows into a single lane crammed with a vibrant ecosystem of shops selling sarongs and snorkels, makeshift food stalls, and persistent touts offering transport and tickets. The car must navigate a slow-moving stream of pedestrians, scooters, and horse-drawn carts known as cidomo. Arriving at Bangsal's perimeter, the journey concludes in a dusty parking lot, a world away from the secluded peace of Sekotong.
