The Southern Traverse from Peninsula to Plain
The journey from Sekotong and Gili Gede to Ekas Bay is a fascinating eastward voyage along Lombok’s southern coastline, typically taking around two to two and a half hours, transitioning from a sheltered peninsula to a remote and dramatic coastal frontier. After the short boat ride from Gili Gede to the Sekotong mainland, the drive begins by navigating off the peninsula, merging onto the main southern highway near Gerung.
